Mexican Folklore Dance Group - Dancers & dances with Mariachi

About Us

Ballet Folkorico La Paloma is a non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the native folk dances of Mexico. By doing so, we hope to arouse pride and heritage in the Mexican- American community.
We also educate the general public through our colorful and entertaining performances. Ballet Folklorico La Paloma has responded to the need of positive and responsive programs for young people in our community since
1982. Through the reinvestment of time, funds, and energy we have been able to help develop positive, and committed young people who will make a better future for generations to come.

Ballet Folklorico La Paloma has performed throughout the Tucson Community and surrounding towns in the area for many events such as the Tucson Meet Yourself, St Augustine's Fiestas, Cinco de Mayo, Fiestas de Independencia de Septiembre, De Anza Days in Tubac, the International Mariachi Conference and many more. The group has traveled throughout the United States and Mexico. Ballet Folklorico La Paloma was very fotunate to have participated
in the Summer Olympics in Sydney Australia.

It is now an honor for Ballet Folklorico La Paloma to have been asked to perform at the Olympics, once again! The group has officially been invited to perform at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London England.
