Join us for a night of Dance and Music Featuring Ballet Folklórico La Paloma and Desert View Folklorico Group. It will be on Saturday June 29, 2024 at ASDB Berger Performing Arts Center 1200 W Speedway . Tickets are $16.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 4 -12yrs.
Ballet Folklórico La Paloma has been an esteemed cultural delegate for Tucson, AZ, notably at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and London,England in 2012. The American Alliance of Performing Arts Educators has frequently extended invitations to our group for international appearances. Despite the educational commitments of several dancers, our collective ambition is to tour globally post-education, sharing the esteemed Mexican performing arts that have previously received widespread praise.
Your support is crucial for the continuity of our costume craftsmanship and restoration. As we welcome new talent, personalized costuming is essential. This year’s inaugural performance spearheads a series of entertainment and fundraising endeavors. Your backing enables us to maintain our commitment to folk art across all age groups and to offer pro bono performances that serve the community, including church fundraisers and entertainment for seniors in residential care.
